Best Things to Explore in Denver

Denver, the largest and capital city of Colorado, offers its citizens and visitors 300 days of sunshine a year along with perpetual happiness. It provides both indoor and outdoor experiences, such as trips to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and the United States Mint, as well as excursions to Rocky Mountain National Park and the Denver Zoo. While some of these sights are easily accessible from Denver's downtown, others are worth the journey or use of public transit. There are plenty of activities in and around Denver to keep you occupied tomorrow and on future days, regardless of your interests. Book your flight tickets to Denver with Spirit Airlines Booking or make your journey memorable.

Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum (DAM) is well-known for its collections of Native and Western American art in addition to the globally acclaimed innovators Giò Ponti and Daniel Libeskind's architecture. The DAM's collections span the whole range, even if it may rely a lot on its Rocky Mountain heritage. Look for examples such as Monet's Waterloo Bridge and Sandy Skoglund's striking large-scale piece Fox Games, which portrays a fantasy eating area.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Red Rocks is regarded as one of the most exquisite outdoor concert venues in the nation for good reason. Concertgoers are treated to vistas of Denver's city and the foothills around the venue, which is a natural amphitheatre with very good acoustics created by bright red sandstone rocks that protrude from either side of the stage. Red Rocks is worth a visit even if you are unable to attend a performance; on the weekends, exercise groups frequently run up the amphitheatre's stairs, and hikers may enjoy stunning vistas of the valley and colourful rock formations along the 1.4-mile Trading Post Trail.

Colorado State Capitol

The Colorado State Capitol is the first item on my list of the top attractions in Denver. Built in the 1890's, this neoclassical structure houses the governor's office and the Colorado General Assembly. The structure was designed to imitate the US Capitol in Washington, DC, which is why it has a somewhat recognisable appearance. To honour the Colorado Gold Rush, a golden dome was placed atop a structure composed of white granite.

Being able to stand precisely one mile above sea level is one of the most amazing aspects of visiting the capitol. To book tickets to Denver, contact Spirit airlines reservations or visit the Spirit airlines official website.
